Nov 7-Sport Information Form Due—this is how many teams will have; no roster needed yet 3.) Nov. 12—Girls coaches meeting 9 a.m @ St. Pius **Coaches must attend; they can attend either the boys or the girls, but they must attend at least one session** 4.) Nov. 14—Eligibility Rosters Due a. Need to submit a hard copy (email to Marty); b. It’s important that the Athletic Director signs off on these, as well as the Principal and Safe Environment Coordinator for the school (they are the ones who’ll check to ensure that the coaches have their BCI and Protecting God’s Children on record at the school w/the compliance date) c. School name can be put down for the parish d. Names need to be spelled correctly so DRA can compare what the parent’s have submitted w/their consent form vs. what’s on the eligibility roster e. Rosters need to be in alphabetical order (last name 1st followed by first name) 5.) Nov. 19-Boys coaches meeting 9 a.m. at SMM **Coaches must attend; they can attend either the boys or the girls, but they must attend at least one session** 6.) Nov. 28-schedules posted 7.) Dec. 3rd and 4th-first game of the season 8.) Dec. 17 and 18-last games before Xmas break 9.) Jan. 7 and 8-games resume 10.) Jan. 21-DRA night with the Blue Jackets 11.) Feb. 11 and 12 -regular season ends 12.) Feb. 18 and 19—tournaments begin 13.) Feb. 25 and 26—tournament finals 5.) 2 deep policy a. Must always have 2 people on the bench during games; they need to be listed on the eligibility roster for the team; must be 21 yrs. or older; can have younger (high schooler) help but you still need at least 2-21 yr. old coaches on the bench during games; high schoolers can sit on the bench if they are acting as scorekeeper
